The exhibition organized by the Obra Social "la Caixa" not only celebrates the achievements of this important living artist of international stature in the last 25 years, but mainly offers the viewer the ability to understand the mystery, adrenaline and uncertainty that implies personal creative process Barceló.
Thus, this experiment shows is key to a coherent and exciting work of Barcelo with over 180 pieces, from large paintings created from 1983 to the most recent, to the ceramic pieces and sculptures not to mention the watercolors, drawings, posters, books and travel books. All this allows to emphasize the rhythm and variety of his career.
The aim of the exhibition is that visitors can experience the work as an experience Barceló. Therefore, the artist was directly involved in the selection of works and has lent some of their own fabric collection that make the exhibition a real event, and not so much a retrospective of his work.
