forfree.cat is an initiative aiming to demonstrate that culture and leisure are "priceless" and to stimulate new forms of participation in difficult times. The forfree project began in Athens in September 2008 with the launch of the online guide www.forfree.gr.

Hence our logo, the forfree crab. “You carry crabs in your pockets” is a popular Greek expression, which means that I spend therefore I am is not your thing. Some imaginary crabs do not let you reach into your pocket ...
